Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases

Self-emptying bases make the robot vacuum worthwhile particularly for those with big houses. This means that you don't have to empty the bin more than once per run. It keeps your floors cleaner and it will run more often.

Its Lidar navigation system does a fantastic job of mapping, and you can make use of the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. It didn't avoid objects like furniture legs or shoes as well as the Q Revo or j7.

1. iRobot Combo J7+

The Combo J7+ is iRobot's first robot mop and vacuum. It takes the excellent iRobot J7 robotic vacuum, and adds a tiny reservoir of water, a robot arm that can raise and lower a mopping pad, and some new sensors. The result is a highly powerful two-in-one cleaner that we've discovered to be superior to other robot vacuums that don't mop.

The Combo J7+ does not have the features for smart mopping that our top pick has, but it still effectively cleans. It has a very efficient brush roll that can be used on hard floors as well as carpeted rooms. It can get in between rugs and furniture without issue even on steep staircases. It has a strong suction that we were awestruck with, though it's not as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.

The Combo J7+ stands out from other robot vacuums due to its mopping feature, which uses an oscillating brush to scrub floors. iRobot calls it SmartScrub and it operates by moving back and forth, similar to the way you scrub your floor using a mop. It can be enabled on a room-by-room basis within the iRobot app.

Like other iRobot robots, the j7 Plus is very easy to install and use. It is also easy to maintain. The water tank and the dust bin are both movable, which means they're simple to clean. The iRobot app lets you view videos about how to maintain different components of the machine, including changing the mopping pads, and filtering the dust bin.

The only real drawback is that you can mop with the iRobot Combo if your mopping pad is attached and if the 210 ml tank is full. If either of those is missing, it just vacuums. The iRobot App allows you to monitor the water tank and receive alerts when it is low.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is a low-cost robot that does a fantastic job of mopping and vacuuming. The mopping performance, particularly given its cost, is quite impressive. It is great for carpets and hard floors, picking smaller to larger pieces of debris (think hair tangles or kitty litter). It also excels at cleaning dried spills, messes and staining. It also cleans stairs and other difficult-to-get-stuck places thoroughly.

The mopping system uses a rotating pad to scrub your floors using water and lift dirt and grime on stuck-on spots. The pad is also thoroughly dried with 45 minutes of warm air after each cleaning to prevent mold and unpleasant smells. You can easily control the robot via the Roborock app, or make use of your voice to start your mopping or change settings and more.

Its vacuuming is also top-notch. It features a powerful suction and high-efficiency filter that captures fine to large debris easily. It's only downside is it doesn’t work as well on carpets that have pet hair. After two sessions of vacuuming at maximum power, 10 percent of pet hair remained on the test surface. This is not something you've heard of.

The Q Revo is a great product, with its excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. It also has excellent cleaning and mopping capabilities. It's not as great as a top-quality robot vacuum or mop, but it's still an excellent option for anyone on a budget. It can also charge up to 30% quicker than previous versions and works with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This adds a lot of convenience at a low price. 3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube vacuum/mop robot is very affordable and offers many great features. The set-up was simple and took only five minutes. After removing the protective plastic and manufacturing tape you can scan the QR code on the app to begin. The app is simple and walks you through the process with ease. Once it is set up the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning.

The app lets you create maps and customise the layout of your home. The app can also divide rooms into smaller sections to better meet your requirements. For instance, you can make a map for the kitchen, and another for the living room and let the robot clean the floors of each room at different times.

In comparison to other robots I've tested, the Yeedi Cube has a unique design that gives it an industrial feel. The base station has more modularity than other robots, and has the tank for dirty water and an auto-empty feature on one side and the vacuum on another. The reusable mop pads are also a separate feature. They are inserted into the top of robot and are connected to a handle on the front, making it simple to remove and refill.

The vacuum is as effective as any robot I've ever tried, and it comes with two side brushes instead of the single brush that is common on models. This improves the coverage of the vacuum, making it less likely to drop debris on furniture and walls. However, it does have some issues with the detection of objects and a tendency to run at full speed through objects, such as the tassel rug I have in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is an excellent choice for maintaining your floors. It does a fantastic job and keeps them looking amazing. It isn't able to do the vacuuming jobs of the other hybrids on this list, and doesn't transition onto carpet or rugs like they do, however it comes with a long battery life, smart mopping features and is a good option for maintaining your hard floors in a small to mid-sized house.

It can be used in dry sweeping mode, cleaning up to 1,000 sq. feet. with a single battery charge. It is also able to map your floor plan using the iRobot App and clean rooms in a sequence with compatible Roomba Vacuums.

When it is used in wet mopping mode, the m6 employs a precise spray to dampen the floor in straight, efficient lines. It's fascinating to observe and it was able to tackle even the most difficult dried-in juice and coffee stain on my floors. It can be set to use less water or more than the maximum amount allowed by the app.

The iRobot app is among the best on the market and makes syncing to your home wi-fi easy.  robot vacuum bagless self emptying  comes with user-friendly features like scheduling, room partitioning and creating no-go zones that give you fine control over the machine. It also shows how much power remains in the battery so you know how long it will last before it has to be docked or recharged. The m6 is available at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK or at the iRobot Store in the US for $399, and on Amazon (where the m6 is currently for sale). It is available in graphite and white.

5. Shark RV2610WA

The price of vacuum and mop robotic cleaners is a big issue. They are convenient, but also expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robot mop and vacuum that comes with XLHEPA Self-Empty base which we reviewed, costs $699 / PS559 or approximately AU$1,054. If you don't purchase the charging base, you'll still need to shell out $549 / PS395 / about $775 AUD.

The Shark RV2610WA is a great option for anyone who needs a robot that is able to handle both mopping and vacuuming. It can also deep remove stubborn stains with the stain-lifting device included in the package. The app allows you to schedule the machine to clean at a particular date and time, and has a smart feature that allows you to control the robot when you're away from home.

The Shark vacuum cleaner is good at cleaning and can take care of most debris. However, it's not as efficient on carpets. It's not difficult for pet hair to get caught in the brushroll and the dirt container will quickly fill up. It also has a variety of parts that need regular maintenance and replacement, which could increase the cost over time.

There are better options available on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on both carpets that are not bare and with high pile. It's more sturdy and comes with a bigger dust bin and can get over obstacles like electrical cords easily. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's worth the extra expense if need a versatile cleaner that does both tasks with ease.
